Evaluation Criteria

Each submission will be carefully analyzed and evaluated based on the following factors:

• Severity of the impact on the network. Denial of Service attacks are not considered valid in this case. Logical bugs are very important!
• Viability of conducting such an attack
• Quality of the description of the issue
• You must be the first to report the specific vulnerability to be eligible
• Availability for follow-up questions with the core ICON team

Note: It is not necessary to build your own contract in order to participate in this challenge! We encourage participants to connect with each other and interact with test contracts from other teams for this challenge. You may find a bug that someone else misses, or vice-versa

Instructions

The first iteration of xCall utilizes Blockchain Transmission Protocol (BTP) under the hood to provide interoperability between different blockchain networks

We encourage participants to deep-dive into the implementation of the xCall interface, BTP, and associated interoperability components to find cases where they may fail or be unreliable

Ultimately, this helps uncover any vulnerabilities, so we can optimize the model and refine the implementation for mainnet!
